Dr Samuel Wearne
Samuel led and developed this project. His research and teaching practice investigates how people, organisations and institutions can create pathways towards more sustainable and equitable futures. Combining expertise in systems change, sustainability, futures studies and social innovation, he has worked in industry and in academia to address complex challenges through applied and interdisciplinary collaborations. His research on AI seeks to understand how AI is being implemented and enacted in the workplace, its place in collaboration and decision-making, and what this means for the future of organisations, democracy, and society.
Dr Helena Robinson
Helena Robinson is a Senior Lecturer in the Transdisciplinary (TD) School at the University of Technology Sydney and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her scholarship spans cultural heritage theory and practice, transdisciplinarity, and educational research. Across these domains, her work is distinguished by a systems-oriented approach, examining how knowledge, authority, and practice are produced through interactions across institutional, disciplinary, and technological boundaries.
Dr Luis Lozano-Paredes
Luis is a Lecturer in the Transdisciplinary School at UTS. His research examines generative and agentic AI as socio-technical participants in knowledge and decision-making, with particular interest in how AI reshapes the infrastructures through which organisations produce, evaluate and act on knowledge. Drawing on governance studies, design research and computationally assisted qualitative methods, he studies AI use across universities, public institutions and professional practice.
Meg Price
Meg Price is a PhD candidate and casual academic in the UTS Transdisciplinary School. Her research explores how talking to AI may be changing our ability to relate to one another. She examines what people experience when they turn to AI for answers, support and sense-making, and what they may no longer practise with other people. Her work asks when AI supports human connection, and when its ease and immediacy risk weakening the relational skills through which we listen, respond and make meaning together.

Dr Beate Mueller
Beate is a Senior Lecturer at TD School. She is a teaching and learning scholar, specialised in WIL, career development learning, intercultural communication, international and cultural studies, and diversity and inclusion. Her interests in AI link to transition and inclusion pedagogy and authentic learning for career and social impact ready graduates.

Dr Julien Marchand
Julien is a Senior Lecturer at the TD School specialising in innovative, student-centred curriculum design and entrepreneurship education. As a member of the TD AI working group, he helps shape how the school integrates Generative AI into teaching and learning — advancing new practices for AI enhanced learning, creativity and student capability building. He also contributes to sector ready program design that increasingly relies on AI augmented learning environments. He is currently leading a project exploring digital innovation and GenAI integrated education in the pan-university TD Electives program at UTS.

Pierre Schaupp
Pierre works at the intersection of human-centred CX practice and AI transformation, where he sees most organisations currently struggling and where the greatest value is waiting to be unlocked. He is a senior CX and innovation executive with 15+ years leading customer experience transformation, venture building, and innovation programs across large Australian corporates, government agencies, and financial services. Pierre formerly led TSG's consulting practice on CX and AI and brings genuine AI strategy depth to strategy and leadership in this nexus. He has conviction that people, not technology, are the critical adoption variable, and his work is grounded in practical delivery of AI readiness assessments, governance frameworks, and adoption roadmaps.

Alycia Wolf
Alycia is a Senior Strategist at TSG and brings experience in service design and consulting to TSG's CX, EX and AI practices. She takes a human-centric focus, preferring to immerse herself in problem solving to find value in diverse contexts. Alycia has a strong skillset in data analysis and transformation and a passion for innovation and consulting.
